Optimized Tobacco Rack Layout Becomes a Key Driver of Convenience Store Sales Growth
In 2026, as global convenience store chains pursue refined operations, optimizing tobacco rack layout-focusing on traffic flow, layering, and SKU management-has become a new trend, helping retailers gain a competitive edge in the fiercely competitive market.
According to the latest industry data, convenience stores with scientific tobacco rack layouts have seen a 15-20% increase in tobacco sales compared to those with random layouts. Many international convenience store brands, such as 7-Eleven and Circle K, are upgrading their tobacco display solutions, emphasizing traffic flow guidance and SKU optimization to improve customer shopping experience.
In European and South American markets, retailers are increasingly adopting adjustable acrylic tobacco racks to adapt to dynamic SKU changes. The eye-level golden layer is widely used to display high-margin products, while clear layering and classification help customers quickly find their desired products, reducing shopping time. Additionally, integrating tobacco racks with checkout areas has become a common practice to stimulate impulsive purchases.

We provide customized solutions to help global convenience store retailers optimize their tobacco rack layout, reduce operational costs, and boost sales performance.
